<p>Some 2007 and 2008 Jeep Wranglers with the 3.8L V6 engine (build date on or before 6/5/08) may emit a squeaking or rattling sound from the clutch. Jeep says the noise occurs most frequently just as the clutch is engaged, on throttle tip-in and/or when decelerating abruptly. Design flaws in the clutch disc are the cause of the noise. Yanking the transmission and installing a redesigned clutch disc with an upgraded lining and beefier damper springs(Part No. 52104732AC) should solve the problem.</p>
