You should replace your serpentine belt as often as it is needed. Recommended Manufacturer intervals ar every 15,000 miles for inspection and Every 45,000 for replacement. This is usually a fairly simple process as can be seen in the video to your right. Just make sure you study the position or draw a picture to help you remember how to put the new one back on. Release pressure from the belt tensioner and swap out the belt. Some variations may apply but it is basically the same process.

Some 2007 and 2008 Jeep Wranglers with the 3.8L V6 engine (build date on or before 6/5/08) may emit a squeaking or rattling sound from the clutch. Jeep says the noise occurs most frequently just as the clutch is engaged, on throttle tip-in and/or when decelerating abruptly. Design flaws in the clutch disc are the cause of the noise. Yanking the transmission and installing a redesigned clutch disc with an upgraded lining and beefier damper springs(Part No. 52104732AC) should solve the problem.
I have a Saturn VUE XE that smells like antifreeze when I turn on the heat. Not sure what it could be…
Response:
More than likely you are looking at a leaking heater core. I have done a ton of these on ALL 08 Saturns with the Vue being the biggest offender. It is VERY likely this is what you are looking at.
