2001 windstar 3.8 liter wont charge cked all fuses also fusible links still wont show a charge does the alternator go thru the pcm module to activate this alternator and is there a lot of problem with these pcm also

The Windstar is not known for PCM issues however fords are known for not likeing aftermarket alternator/generators if you do not have a motorcraft one installed. You can do these simple diagnostic steps with a volt meter to find your fault here. This vehicle does use the PCm for chargeing output. Even though the windstar is not known for PCm failures it does not mean its not ruled out. Below are some tests and info and wire diagrams to help in figuring this out.
