engine runs fine but just started to die at stop signs-lights
1998 cherokee,4liter 6cyl,automatic,250K miles.engine runs fine but just started to die at stop signs-lights.starts right back up immediatly and idles fine until you accelerate and stop at the next sign. any ideas where to look for a malfunction, also there are no dtc codes or check engine lightsÂ
Answer:
with the amount of miles i would be checking for a vacum leak and clean the throttle body to remove any buid up that may restrict the idle controls it seems to be just responding slowly so a cleaning may resolve the problem
